Funland (Hayling Island):

Hayling Seaside Railway (Beachlands, Hayling Island):

Opened in 2003, after a long-standing campaign to restore some railway line to Hayling Island, due to the closure of the Billy Line. The line is open on weekends, market Wednesdays and Bank Holidays (except Christmas), and departs Beachlands for beautiful views of the island’s coastline.  Horizon Leisure Centre (Havant):

Just north of the island is the town of Havant, where you’ll find more great family fun. On the off chance that the weather isn’t on your side, you could spend the day at Havant’s brilliant Horizon Leisure Centre. The Havant centre offers a 25m main swimming pool, a diving pit and learner pool. There is also a sauna, steam room, gym, a crèche, soft play centre and a café and bar on the top floor.

Staunton Country Park (Havant):

This wonderful rural attraction is open daily until 5:00pm (4:00pm in winter) and offers interactions with cute animals, spectacular gardens, a play barn for the kids, outdoor pursuits, fishing, kids trails and many more. They even cater to birthday parties, should one of the younger ones be celebrating a special day during your visit.

Willowbrook Riding Centre (Hambrook):

Take to the saddle and ride between the stunning South Downs and the sea by heading up to this beautiful riding centre. It offers lessons for all ages and abilities, and is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Tuition is offered to anyone over the age of 2 and a half, so it’s great fun for the whole family.

Chichester Harbour (Chichester):
