Boomtown Fair – Hampshire – 9th – 12th August

Boomtown Fair celebrates theatre, live music, escapism and community spirit all within beautifully dressed up stages. The line-up is so diverse! On one stage there’s DJ Archie, a 3-year-old DJ ( no that’s not a typo) through to 22-years-strong, rap-rock band, Limp Bizkit. The festival is based in Winchester, just 45 minutes away from Sandy Balls, making Sandy Balls Holiday Village an ideal location to crash for the night, if camping isn’t your cup of tea!

Jack up the ‘80s – Isle of Wight – 10th-12th August

Now in its 6th year, Jack up the ‘80s is a fun-filled music festival set to embrace the hairspray, roller-boots and the neon of that well-loved decade. Artists confirmed so far include Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, pop rock group T’Pau, punk princess Toyah Willcox, jazz funk band Shakatak and soul star Jaki Graham. If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in-between festival days, Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park is only a 15-minute drive away from the festival – you can’t get much closer than that!
