We’re all really excited here at Away Resorts that our milestone birthday is just around the corner! And in Away Resorts fashion, we will most certainly be celebrating Sandy Balls’ 100th birthday with a big bang!
Our centenary birthday party will be happening on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd June where the whole day will be jam-packed full of exciting entertainment and events! Everyone is welcome to the event, even if you’re not staying on park! Take a look below at what’s happening over weekend long celebration.
Our birthday party sets off bright and early at 10am and there’s so much for you and the gang to enjoy!
Head to the Family Festival Stage for pockets of entertainment including story time, puppet shows and a holiday park exclusive theatrical performance of Monty & Mirabella. It’s a must see, especially as you will be the first Away Resorts guests to ever see this stage show!
We will of course have our much-loved Sandy Balls activities happening throughout the day including alpaca walks, forest archery as well as a few new ones thrown in including; walking on custard and alpaca yoga!!
If you’re one for a bit of friendly competition, head to the village green at Greenwood for some family fun races and activities.
Around Sandy Balls Holiday Village, you’ll stumble across plenty of things to do including a Mad Hatters Tea Party, featuring circus style Alice in Wonderland characters, fortune telling by the New Forest White Witch, a log sculpture artist creating a beautiful masterpiece, live roaming musicians, tall walking trees wandering around the park, an adorable dog show, glitter face painting and a forest cinema showing family classics including; Christopher Robin, Peter Rabbit and Shaun the Sheep.
