There’s nothing worse than not knowing where to start when packing for your holiday. To help get you on the right track, take a look at our top 5 essentials when getting ready for your Away Resorts holiday:
1. Sun protection
The weather has been extremely kind to us this summer and the sun isn’t due to give up on us just yet! Remember to pack the all-important sun cream, as well as a hat and sunglasses!
2. Swimwear
Don’t forget your swimming costume, trunks and goggles as all Away Resorts parks have an indoor swimming pool and some even feature an outdoor one too! If you’re heading to Whitecliff Bay or Mill Rythe, make sure you take a ride down their awesome water slide and splash into the heated pool!*
At Barmouth Bay, Whitecliff Bay and Mersea Island we are incredibly lucky to be located just a stone’s throw away from a secluded beach. Set up camp for the day and listen to the peaceful crashing of the waves, with a book in one hand and an ice cream in the other.
3. The Away Resorts app
Remember to download the Away Resorts app on your phone before heading off on your getaway. The app has everything you need to get the most out of your holiday including:
- A park map
- Information about what’s on during your stay
- The opportunity to book onto activities
- Information about park facilities and nearby local attractions
- A five-day weather forecast
The app is available to download through the App Store and Google Play.
4. Camera
There are so many great memories ready to be made on an Away Resorts break – make sure you capture them all by bringing your camera along, unless you of course already have a smartphone with a snazzy camera!
