Stretching along 147 miles, The Viking Way is a marked walking route through Lincoln which finishes in Rutland. Rich in history, The Viking Way has been given its name as it passes through the region occupied by Norse invaders in the 9th century; where many remains from this period were discovered. Fascinating and beautiful, this countryside route makes a perfect day out exploring.
