Golden Sands wins 3 times at Conwy’s 2018 Best Bar None Awards

As you can imagine, we are super pleased with this achievement and are particularly proud of our team of staff on the Park, and fabulous visitors who have all contributed to creating one of the best holiday parks in North Wales. A huge THANK YOU to all involved.

The history of the Best Bar None Awards…

The Best Bar None Awards was piloted in Manchester in 2003 and proved to have such a positive effect on the evening and night-time economy that it is now active in over 75 towns and cities across the UK, Conwy being one of them.

The scheme aims to support a standard of excellence within the licensing trade of the county. This is an opportunity for licensed premises to prove they run a safe and responsible venue to high professional standards of customer care. Hence, their mission is:

To reduce alcohol-related crime and anti-social behaviour. To increase business through the delivery of training, education and promotion of best practice, and to create a partnership between the local authority, the police, the trade and the private sector in order to broaden the appeal of an area, particularly its evening and nighttime economy.
Golden Sands Holiday Park won the award for Best Leisure Venue in 2017 and is an accredited venue. We were very proud to host and support this important initiative, which is vital to the economic growth and sustainability of the region.

The award ceremony took place on Monday 26th November 2018. Congratulations to all winners and runners-up of the evening.
