Golden Sands Holiday Park Local Attractions: Llandudno Pier

Come rain or shine, a traditional seaside holiday wouldn’t be the same unless you took a trip to the pier and visited the local attractions. Fortunately, Llandudno is only a 20-minute drive away from Golden Sands Holiday Park where you can stroll along the majestic 2,295ft elegant grade 2 listed Llandudno Pier, stretching into the Irish Sea. Built in, 1878 the longest pier in Wales is known for its splendid Victorian and Edwardian elegance, so it’s well worth a visit!

Llandudno PierLlandudno Pier is one of the most popular local Golden Sands Holiday Park local attractions, as there is something for all the family to enjoy, no matter what your age. You can take in the beautiful views over the Irish ocean or look back over the stunning beach and bustling seaside town.
If you are after something more exciting, then the Leisure Island Arcade might be more to your taste. Talking of taste, you will be spoilt for food choice on the pier – try a delicious donut or a bag of traditional sweeties, a well-deserved pint or a nostalgic bag of chips – there is so much on offer!

There are also some lovely quirky shops on the pier, selling toys, beach toys, hats, souvenirs and gifts to name just a few. This is one of our favourite places to visit, its like stepping back in time. So next time you are visiting Golden Sands Holiday Park in Wales we would highly recommend a trip here.

Llandudno Pier is open every day until 10pm. Closed Christmas Day. Take a look at their website to find out more: www.llandudnopier.com
